Niseko - Resort Representative/Driver

Are you passionate about people with a can-do attitude? The SkiJapan.com Guest Services Team is seeking friendly, charming, and efficient English-speaking staff to work within our Guest Services Team. Key Responsibilities: - Meet and greet guests in the resort. - Safely drive guests to and from village/resort accommodations and for intra-village ski shuttles with a driving distance of 5 to 20 minutes. - Perform guest check-ins and check-outs based on provided information. - Provide guests with essential local information and assistance. - Work during the Christmas and New Year period. Additional Responsibilities: - Promote tours and activities such as snowmobiling and cultural tours. - Assist guests with rental equipment setup. - Occasionally host guests on cultural tours. Preferred Experience/Training: Experience in any of the following is beneficial: - Personal customer service (face-to-face). - Travel/tourism. - Outdoor education or activity guiding. - Resort/seasonal work. - Skiing or Snowboarding experience. Personal Attributes: - Responsible, energetic, confident, and with a can-do attitude. - Friendly personality and strong team player. - Flexible with irregular work hours. Language Requirements: - Must be an English speaker (business level or higher). - Other language skills are welcome but not essential. Driving License Requirements: - Valid driving license from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, or Taiwan. - International Driving Permit (IDP) accepted if it's under The Geneva Convention on Road Traffic. Visa Requirement: - Working Holiday Visa required for this position. Remuneration Package: - Hourly rates discussed during the interview. - Staff accommodation available. - Grand Hirafu/Hanazono lift pass at a corporate discount (refundable upon completion of contract and with a clean disciplinary record). Employment Dates: - Full Season: 25th November 2025 – 31st March 2026. - Short-Term: 25th November 2025 – 28th February 2026. - Flexible start and end dates to be discussed at the interview. Working Hours: - Full-time, 5 days per week. - Contracted average of 40 hours per week but may vary based on snow and customer demand, particularly during peak season (late Dec to mid-Feb) and quieter times.
