Guesthouse Assistant

We are looking for a friendly and responsible Guesthouse Assistant for our Hanami Stay Guesthouse located near the Gion district in Kyoto. As a Guesthouse Assistant, your duties will include cleaning rooms, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and interacting with international guests. We value a friendly demeanor and a responsible attitude towards guests and fellow staff members. Requirements: - Ability to clean rooms and assist in daily operations - Basic smartphone/computer skills for booking systems - Interest in Japanese culture and hospitality - Previous experience in customer service is a plus but not required - Conversational English is necessary; conversational Japanese (N5–N4) is helpful but not mandatory. We provide free dorm-style accommodation and access to a shared kitchen. This is a part-time position (20–30 hours/week), including weekends and holidays. The minimum commitment is 3 months.
