Facility Fire Protection Engineer

As a Facility Fire Protection Engineer, you will design and analyze methods to identify and reduce fire-related risks to protect people and property. You will be responsible for providing fire protection requirements and recommendations through space utilization studies and forecasting. Your duties will include analyzing fire hazards and developing mitigation strategies, including the design and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in fire protection engineering - Knowledge of fire dynamics, structural and mechanical systems, risk management, and safety codes (IBC, UFC, NFPA, ANSI, ASCE) - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field - Professional Engineering Certification - Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Additional Qualifications: - Experience with MEP construction drawing sets - Knowledge in design engineering of fire protection systems (wet, dry, pre-action, mass notification, etc.) - Master’s degree in Engineering - NICET Certification Compensation: The salary range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 USD annually, dependent upon location and experience.
