This role focuses on leading a team that employs Python on Kubernetes, aiming to transform the way software is operated both in public clouds and in local data centers. The goal is to build a new community around Python ops code for open source applications and productizing those workloads for real-time automated operations. Responsibilities: - Lead a team focused on productizing business workloads. - Build and manage a regional team of engineers. - Coach, mentor, and develop your team through feedback. - Contribute to the team’s technical goals. - Set schedules based on estimates with feedback loops for improvement. - Manage expectations with other engineering teams and stakeholders. - Promote modern, agile software development practices. - Maintain high standards of quality and engineering excellence. - Foster a collaborative engineering culture that aligns with company values. - Collaborate with other leaders in the organization. - Work remotely with global travel required up to 20% for events.
