Trade Compliance Manager

This position is responsible for managing key aspects of the Customs and Corporate Service Center, providing centralized management on customs compliance, support for customs brokers, assessments, and customs audits to support TE's operations. Key responsibilities include strategy formulation, program design and execution, training, and system deployment and optimization, but are not limited to these tasks. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of the APAC Customs and Corporate Services Center and will join a team of experts passionate about providing business solutions to ensure compliance with global trade regulations for future business growth.

Fluent Japanese (JLPT Level 1 or N1)
Requirements
8+ years of experience in international trade (primarily managing Chinese trade compliance and customs import programs)
Functional knowledge of customs I/Export topics across JP including tariff classification, CoO, evaluation, and export control
Ability to design, deploy, and manage effective trade compliance policies and processes reflected in business operations
Ability to seamlessly interact with various business groups in a dynamic global organization and build trust
Strong ability to execute and deliver results despite challenges and setbacks
Excellent organizational habits and priority management
