Seeking Staff and Sub Manager for Multiple Positions

Zao Onsen Ski Resort Lodge Scole and Kura Obihachi is seeking staff for winter and summer season as regular staff. We are a small family-owned ski lodge located in ZAO Onsen resort in Yamagata Prefecture. We have been in operation for the past 52 years. Our motto is to make the guests feel at home, while enjoying a relaxing stay with us. Our guests are a mix of Japanese and foreigners who simply love ZAO and staying at our lodge. We are looking for someone friendly, cheerful and hardworking, who is willing to be part of our small team. If you want to engage in international exchange, love nature, love dogs, and would like to live on-site with a balanced lifestyle, we welcome you to help elevate Lodge Scole in the vast ZAO mountains. Those who can assist with management and kitchen duties are especially welcome. Japanese language skills and a driving license are preferred. Requirements: 1) Basic Japanese language speaking and more 2) Understand Japanese customer service 3) Valid visa holder 4) 20+ years old 5) Team player 6) Self-motivated Salary and Benefits: 1) Daily salary starts at 8,000 yen, and can be more depending on performance. Free accommodation + 3 meals a day are provided. 2) During ski season, you will have the opportunity to ski or snowboard during your free time. 3) The lodge owner, an ex-Tokyo national ski team member, can teach you skiing in your free time. 4) Learn Japanese hospitality and service. 5) Meet new people. Job Description: HOUSE KEEPING + SERVICE: • Clean and prepare guest rooms • Clean the common areas • Reception duties • Kitchen support • Waiting tables CHEF / KITCHEN ASSISTANT: 1) 20+ Age 2) Skilled in home cooking or experienced in restaurant cooking Qualifications: Visa holder Bonus if you speak both English and Japanese. Bonus if you have a driver’s license (International Driver’s License works).
