Zao Onsen Ski Resort Lodge Scole kura obihachi is seeking staff for winter and summer season as regular staff starting this summer. We welcome advanced Japanese speakers and Japanese nationals preferentially. We are a small family-owned ski lodge located in ZAO Onsen resort in Yamagata Prefecture. We have been in operation for the past 52 years. Our motto is to make the guests feel at home, while enjoying a relaxing stay with us. Our guests are a mix of Japanese and foreigners who simply love ZAO and staying at our lodge. We are looking for someone friendly, cheerful, and hardworking, who is willing to be part of our small team. This is an opportunity for those who wish to experience international exchange, love nature, and dogs. Working and living here provides experiences that cannot be gained from an office job, and we hope you can help us bring life to Lodge Scole in the vast ZAO area. We welcome those who can participate in management and can be entrusted with the kitchen. Japanese language skills and a driving license are preferred. **Requirements:** 1) Basic Japanese language speaking skills or more. 2) Understanding of Japanese customer service. 3) Valid visa holder. 4) 20 years old or more. 5) Team player. 6) Self-motivated. **Salary and Benefits:** 1) Please inquire about salary during the interview; free accommodation + 3 meals a day; or more for good workers. 2) During ski season, you will have opportunities to ski or snowboard during your free time. 3) The lodge owner (ex-Tokyo national ski team) can teach you skiing when there is free time. 4) Learn Japanese hospitality and service. 5) Meet new people. **Job Description:** **Housekeeping + Service:** • Clean and prepare guest rooms. • Clean the common areas. • Reception duties. • Kitchen support. • Waiting tables. **Chef / Kitchen Assistant:** 1) 20 years of age or older. 2) Skilled in home cooking or experienced in restaurant cooking. **Qualifications:** Visa holder **Bonus:** - If you speak both English and Japanese. - If you have a driver’s license (International Driver’s License works). - We accept dogs.
