Overview: Tokyo Academics, a fast-growing organization established in 2012, is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head its HR and Office Administration teams in Tokyo's Nishiazabu office. Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading HR initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws while promoting a positive company culture. Key Responsibilities: - HR Leadership: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. Develop HR strategies aligned with company goals and manage talent management including career development and retention. - Administration: Supervise administrative functions ensuring operational efficiency, optimize processes, and improve office management. - Strategic Planning & Advisory: Partner with the executive team to provide insights on workforce strategy and analyze HR metrics. Ideal Candidate: - Bachelor's in HR or Business Administration. - 3-5 years of HR experience with minimum 2 years in a leadership role. - Fluent in Japanese and English with extensive knowledge of Japan's labor laws. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
