Seeking native English speakers who aim to live and work in Japan long-term, providing a diverse atmosphere managed by both Japanese and international staff. Responsibilities: - Teach English to students ranging from elementary to seniors. - Prepare classes and curriculum. - Collect tuition fees and organize lesson schedules. - Maintain a tidy classroom environment. Working Hours: - Tuesday to Friday: 15:45 - 20:45 (occasionally until 21:45) - Saturday: 08:45 - 16:45 (with one hour lunch break, possibly until 17:45) Salary and Benefits: - Hourly pay: ¥1,700 - ¥3,000 (average ¥2,000 - ¥2,100 per class) - Monthly salary: ¥200,000 - ¥260,000 - Transport costs covered up to ¥800/day - Generous paid holidays (125+ days/year, 3 long vacations) - Free Japanese classes, sick leave, legal paid leave, employment insurance Requirements: - Valid working visa (Japanese National, Permanent Resident, Spouse/Child of Japanese National, etc.) - Bachelor’s degree - Passionate about teaching with a hospitality mindset - Good rapport with students; no Japanese proficiency required Ideal Candidate: Someone who is eager to immerse in Japanese culture and develop long-term educational strategies within a diverse environment.
