The Bioinformatics Center is seeking a qualified candidate to conduct research and lead projects related to multi-omics analysis including large-scale sequencing, proteomics, and metabolomics. The candidate will also develop measurement technologies, single-cell analysis techniques, AI-based methods, and computational algorithms essential for the biomedical field. The successful applicant will: - Lead an independent research group. - Promote collaborative research utilizing bioinformatics technologies in infectious diseases, immunology, oncology, and more. - Engage in educational activities for undergraduate and graduate students. - Potentially participate in cross-appointment systems for collaboration with external institutions. **Work Content:** - Conduct cutting-edge research in bioinformatics and related fields. - Instruct and guide students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. **Qualifications:** **Education Requirements:** - A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or equivalent professional expertise in fields related to bioinformatics, life sciences, or informatics. **Essential Skills:** 1. Strong research track record in academia. 2. Proficiency in English and Japanese to perform work effectively. 3. Collaboration experience across various research fields. **Preferred Skills:** 1. Clinical sequencing experience. 2. Expertise in precision genome analysis and mathematical data analysis. 3. Familiarity with database management and web servers. **Work Hours:** 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM (Discretionary Labor System applied with consent). **Contract Duration:** From the starting date to March 31, 2028, with a possibility of extension based on performance.
