The Airport Meet & Greet Assistant will play a crucial role as part of our growth strategy to enhance Japan Experience’s offerings for western markets. This position serves as an entry point into a career as a tour guide for our daily guided activities. Responsibilities: - Attend either Narita or Haneda airports to greet customers. - Welcome guests in the arrival lobby to create a positive initial impression. - Anticipate and address travelers' needs with a warm and organized reception. - Provide initial orientation and necessary documentation to clients. - Assist with pocket WiFi return and escort clients to their transport. - Communicate effectively with shuttle drivers to ensure seamless transfers. Candidate Profile: - Must be eligible to work in Japan. - Must live in or around Tokyo with flexible working hours, including weekends and early/late shifts. - A background in Japan's travel industry is preferred. - Language Requirements: - English: Business level - French: Business level - Japanese: Conversational level - Additional languages (German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus. Required Skills: - Personable and sociable, able to connect easily with travelers. - Strong organizational skills, dependable, and capable of handling unexpected events calmly. - Excellent communication skills with travelers and suppliers. Compensation: - Rate: 1250¥/hour (Mon-Fri 9 AM to 7 PM). - Rate: 1750¥/hour (Weekends and 7 PM to 9 AM). - Expense reimbursement for travel and phone. - Flexible working schedule and opportunities for advancement within the company.
